How long does it take to setup the service?

It takes less than five minutes to get set up an Autoniq account online or call us at (866) 482-8421.

Is there a term commitment?

No, you may cancel at any time.

Is it hard to cancel?

No, it's easy. You can cancel online by logging into your account at autoniq.com.

How can I pay for my service?

You may pay by Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express. You may also pay by check or money order for a year of non-refundable service.

Can I pay by Purchase Order?

We do not accept Purchase Orders. If you have a specific or unique requirement, please call us at (866) 482-8421.

Can I purchase more than one account and get a discount?

We do not offer quantity discounts. If you have a specific or unique requirement, please call us at (866) 482-8421 to discuss.

Do you offer a referral fee?

Yes. We offer a $50 referral fee for new subscribers that remain on the service for at least 90 continuous days. Make sure they give us your name at sign-up to be eligible for the referral bonus!

Is there a registration or set up fee?

No, we do not charge a deposit or registration fee.

How often do you bill?

We charge your credit card when you initiate your account. For example, if you initiate your account on January 18th, your service and billing period will be January 18 - February 17 and will continue on that month to month cycle.

Your Autoniq subscription automatically renews each month on the credit card on your account. You may cancel at any time. No refunds or credits will be issued for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds or refunds for months of unused service with an open account. What happens if I change my mind?

Cancel the service within the first ten (10) calendar days of subscribing and you will be issued a one-time refund. Please see the Refund Policy for additional details.

Can I sign up by phone?

Yes, please call us at (866) 482-8421. Keep in mind registration via the website is simple and easy as well as quicker! We are a small company and are not always able to answer every call immediately.

Is any special hardware required?

No, you do not have to purchase any special hardware specifically for the Autoniq service. The Autoniq service and Autoniq VIN Scanner work with all modern Android phones with an auto-focus camera and the latest iPhones and iPads. Autoniq also works with Android tablets that include a rear auto-focus camera.

Can you build a custom feature just for me?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer custom features.

Can I transfer my service to another user?

Due to restrictions from third party data providers, this is not allowed.

Do you have a reseller program?

We do not have a reseller program.

Do I need my own CARFAX®/AutoCheck® account?

Yes, you must have your own account to access their vehicle history reports. CARFAX and AutoCheck do not offer their account services through third party resellers. This means you will be charged by them for each VHR requested through your Autoniq subscription based upon your contract with them.

What devices are compatible with Autoniq?

For compatible devices, go to iTunes or Google Play Store and search for 'Autoniq VIN Scanner'.

Is Autoniq available for Blackberry or Windows Mobile Devices?

The Autoniq VIN Scanner is not available for Blackberry or Windows Mobile devices. Those devices have their own proprietary operating systems which do not allow access to the camera and have an unpredictable platform. We won't develop our products for devices that cannot deliver a consistent, positive user experience. That's why you don't see as many applications for those types of phones.
